Who we are

PayDocs (“we”, “us”) provides the website at paydocs.co. By creating an account or buying a document, you agree to these terms. Contact: support@paydocs.co.

What PayDocs is, and isn't

PayDocs lays out US pay stubs and UK payslips from payroll figures you provide, and can calculate some tax lines from published government rules.

• It is not a payroll service. It doesn't pay anyone, file returns or make payments to tax authorities.
• It doesn't give tax, payroll or legal advice. Calculated figures follow the published rules named on each result; you're responsible for checking every figure against your payroll records.
• It doesn't verify employment or income, and a PayDocs document is not issued, approved or endorsed by any government, employer or authority.

Your account

You must be 18 or over and give a real email address. Keep your password secure; you're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at support@paydocs.co if you think someone else has used it.

Acceptable use

Use PayDocs only to record real pay from payroll you're authorized to prepare. You must not:

• create a document with figures that weren't actually paid, or alter one to mislead anyone;
• use a document to deceive a landlord, lender, employer, government agency or anyone else;
• enter someone's details without the authority to prepare their pay records;
• attempt to break, overload or get around the service's security or limits.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, without a refund where the breach is serious, and we may keep records and share them where the law requires.

Your content

What you enter and the documents you create are yours. You allow us to store and process them only to provide PayDocs to you. You confirm you have the right to enter any details about other people.

Prices and payment

Previewing is free. The price of a finished document or a pack is shown before you pay, in US dollars or pounds sterling. Payment is taken by Stripe. A document is released only after the payment is confirmed to us by Stripe.

Pack credits can be used for later documents in the same currency from your workspace.

Corrections and refunds

Free corrections and refunds work as set out in our refund policy (paydocs.co/refunds), which forms part of these terms. A refunded or disputed purchase stops the related documents from being downloaded.

Availability and changes

We work to keep PayDocs available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted. We may change or stop features; we won't take away a document you've paid for without a refund.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we aren't liable for losses caused by figures you entered, by relying on a document for something PayDocs doesn't do (see above), or that weren't foreseeable. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Closing your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@paydocs.co. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Sections on acceptable use and liability continue to apply.

Changes and your rights

If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

These terms take effect on 26 September 2026. If we change them, we'll give notice by email or on the site before the change applies to you.
